UPCOMING LITTERS

Nothing planned
All puppies are AKC registured and sold as pets/companions on spay/neuter contract (unless other arrangements have been made). AKC papers for limited registration provided upon proof of spay/neuter from a licensed veterinarian.

Puppies will not leave my home before 8-12 weeks of age.  Puppies will have received age appropriate vaccinations, worming, begun potty training and will be socialized with other dogs, cats and people (adults and children).
Prospective Buyer Questionaire

Thank you for your interest in a puppy from GoldiDox Grove!  I am a dedicated Dachshund lover who participates in various dog related events.  I breed occasionally to produce what I believe to be quality Dachshunds that conform to the breed standard, that are intelligent and have winning personalities.  I focus on doing all I can to produce physically and mentally sound dogs.

Through my involvement in local and national All Breed and Dachshund clubs I am exposed to other points of view and educational programs.  Likewise, through my constant contact with other Dachshund breeders all over the world I have the opportunity to share information and ideas concerning my beloved breed.

I am very protective of my puppies... they are all raised in my home and are well cared for and socialized during their time here.  Each and every puppy receives a lot of love, play time, socialization with people (adults and children), other dogs, cats and even birds!  Even with all the attention, puppies going to a new home are not a trained, well-mannered finished product… they are puppies! They will have accidents and they will get into mischief, all part of being a puppy.  I expect new owners to finish the job I have started and help their puppy become a mature, well-mannered Dachshund by being responsible for the further development of the puppy's personality through structured discipline, training, guidance and most of all love.  Also I keep in close contact with puppy buyers, they become part of my extended family!  I’m always available to help you with questions or just about anything else!

This questionnaire serves to help me become better acquainted with the people inquiring about my Dachshunds. It serves to present me with a more complete picture of what you are looking for in a dog and to help match you, as a potential buyer, with a dog that will ultimately turn out to be what you are looking for. This questionnaire in no way constitutes a contract on my part that there will be a Dachshund puppy available for you, nor do your responses serve as the sole determinant of whether or not a Dachshund puppy will be offered.  There are no right or wrong answers.

If you are interested in a puppy from an upcoming litter I recommend you complete the questionnaire and speak with me (via e-mail or in person) after that.  When I have a litter planned I will notify you.  I reserve the right to choose not to place a puppy in a prospective home at any time or for any reason.  My first consideration is the safety and well-being of my puppies, from the day they are conceived until the day (hopefully long in the future) when they pass on.

Because of the overabundance of Dachshunds in rescue, my puppies are sold on a Limited AKC Registration (non-breeding) contract, requiring the dog to be spayed or neutered at or around six months of age.  I will under very special circumstances and with outstanding puppies agree in writing to lift this Limited Registration allowing the puppies to be bred once certain criteria are met.  I will discuss this with you if you are interested in a breeding prospect pup.

Before taking your puppy home you will be given a "Puppy Packet" containing information on training and care of your puppy, and you will be asked to sign a puppy purchase contract.  You will be given health records and any other information I feel you may need.  Please note, as the breeder, I will register the litter with AKC but individual registration application papers must be completed and submitted by the new owner.  This individual registration application will be supplied for you to register your puppy only when I receive proof from a licensed veterinarian that your puppy has been spayed/neutered.

I evaluate each puppy's temperament and personality by observing them during their development.  I attempt to match the puppy to the buyer to produce the best fit of puppy and family. The order in which you will be allowed to pick your puppy is determined by the order in which your name appears on my waiting list along with a deposit being received. Therefore, if having a number of puppies to choose from is of importance to you, it is in your best interest to complete and return this questionnaire in a timely fashion.

Please complete the following information.  Once you’re done, please save your questionnaire on your computer and email it to goldidox@nycap.rr.com.  If you have ANY problems with the form please get in touch with me at goldidox@nycap.rr.com.

Thank you for taking the time to fill in this questionnaire.

I make every effort to ensure that puppies are free from any inherited defects, by screening breeding stock for those problems common to the breed.  My puppies are sold with a 1 year guarantee against life-threatening genetic defects.
